Acceptance of these terms
By requesting a quote or booking a cleaning service through our website, telephone, or email, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with a booking.
Our services
Cleaning Services Darlington provides domestic and commercial cleaning services in Darlington and the surrounding County Durham area. The services we offer include regular house cleaning, deep cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, Airbnb and holiday let changeovers, empty property cleaning, after builders cleaning, and same day cleaning.
The exact scope of each service will be agreed with you in writing or by telephone before the visit takes place. We reserve the right to decline a booking where the property condition makes it unsafe or impractical for our team to work.
Quotes and pricing
All quotes are provided free of charge based on the information you supply. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued. If the property condition or size differs significantly from what was described, we reserve the right to revise the price before beginning work.
Prices include all cleaning materials and equipment unless otherwise agreed. VAT is not currently charged.
Booking and cancellation
- Bookings are confirmed once we have agreed a date, time, and price with you in writing or by telephone.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the agreed booking price.
- Same day bookings, once confirmed, are non-refundable if cancelled on the day of the clean.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the clean unless alternative terms have been agreed in advance. We accept bank transfer, cash, and card payment. For ongoing regular cleans, we may agree a monthly invoicing arrangement.
Late payment may result in suspension of future bookings until the outstanding balance is cleared.
Access to the property
You are responsible for ensuring that we can access the property at the agreed time. If our team is unable to access the property through no fault of ours, a call-out charge may apply. Please provide accurate access information, including key codes or key box locations, at the time of booking.
Limitation of liability
We carry full public liability insurance. In the unlikely event of accidental damage caused by our team during a clean, please notify us within 24 hours of the visit. We will investigate the report and, where we are at fault, arrange repair or replacement up to the limit of our insurance policy.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage resulting from following your specific instructions. Our liability does not extend to consequential or indirect losses.
Health and safety
We reserve the right to withdraw our team from a property if conditions pose a health or safety risk. Examples include the presence of dangerous substances, excessive infestation, or aggressive behaviour from any person at the property. In such cases, a call-out charge may apply for time already spent.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Cleaning Services Darlington. You may not reproduce any part of this website without our written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
